Jeevoday Special School for the mentally Challenged started way back in 1989 on 2nd October with only 17 students to cater to with only 3 staff under the small thatched Building provided by the late Archbishop Most. Rev. Leobard D’Souza.
Sr. Josna & Sr. Jecinth are the pioneers of the Jeevoday special school who came down to Nagpur a new place with different state and Language took the challenge in this sphere and with their active involvement it was decided to set up an institution on a piece of land in the Campus of S.F.S school Nagpur in a small dilapidated school building for this cause and named Jeevoday Special School for the Mentally Handicapped under the aegis of a society called Jeevoday Education Society registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act bearing PTR No. F. 9733(N).
And upto now, we are now running 24 years of excellence in the field of educating mentally handicapped student.
