Principals Message

Sr. Josna Mary, Principal

Dear Viewers……

In conformity with verse of the Holy Bible “I tell you, whenever you did this for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did it for me”, by the grace of God I have been chosen as pioneer in the Jeevoday special school for the Mentally challenged, Nagpur, and having been for over two decades of my experience and feelings about yeomen service being rendered by the institution to the desired and needy section of our society.

Our school is always in the forefront to accept all challenges and meet the responsibilities so as to make and feel the pupil attending our school as their home in the perspective of inculcating in them true knowledge and vocational training in order to stand on their own feet. And I believe that education involves several aspects of development of an individual. Our special educational programme makes this strategy possible thorough various technical trainings and intelligible educational programmes to make each and every student of ours self-reliant and sustainable.

While in the service of Mentally Disabled persons, however, our well trained and experienced teachers take pains in moulding and shaping the students at the school campus in pursuit of learning their individual behaviors, understanding their physical nuances, taking social and academic responsibilities, and letting out unsullied empathy to unearth them in to new creations. The Special school caters the need of Nagpur City and around, irrespective of caste, creed, religion and class. Its motto is for the service of the differently intellectual persons to become independent and gain recognition in the society rather than sympathy or mercy. We, the family of Assisi Sisters of Mary Immaculate are proud for being contributing to the serious pledge we have initiated for this noble cause. And it dawned on me the grace to revive a new generation of young mentally retarded children of our season and to convert the inhuman perspective of the people of our era towards a better world. Therefore, we as a team persevere in our effort of bringing about credible results in the life of the mentally challenged students through the continued co-operation and support to each other.

I look forward to your invaluable support, help and co-operation in the furtherance of the objectives, we are envisioning, for the cause of the most desired differently challenged persons.
Wishing you God’s blessings ………..

Yours …
Sr. Josna Mary
